My father's maternal grandparents were Oliver Pierce Taylor and Catherine L. (Bullock) Taylor. Oliver was born in North Carolina and died in Janaury 1925 in Denton, Texas. Catherine Taylor was born August 19, 1837 in Nut Brush, North Carolina and died September 15, 1927 in Denton, Texas. I have no record of my father's paternal grandparents.
My mother's maternal grandparents were Dr. J. Bachman Lee, born January 31, 1820 in Clark County, Alabama and died February 24, 1885. Sarah E. Lee, her grandmother, was born January 1824 in Clark County, Alabama and died June 21, 1915 in Mansfield, Louisiana. My mothers' paternal grandparents were William and Susan Spell. They were the parents of Richard H. Spell, who married Lillian Leonide Spell. Richard Spell was born February 6, 1858 in Keatchie, Louisiana and died February 15, 1901 in Keathcie, Louisiana. Lillian Leonide Spell was born April 15, 1862 in St. Landry Parish, Oppolosa, Louisiana and died January 26, 1902 in Mansfield, Louisiana. Richard and Lillian were my mother's parents and my grandparents.
My parents were Franklin Seale, better known by his nickname of "Doc" Seale and Sarah Elizabeth (Spell) Seale. My father was born March 3, 1893 in Corsicana, Texas and died December 26, 1976 and my mother was born February 18, 1895 in Keatchie, Louisiana. She passed away August 14, 1980 in Fallbrook, California.

Emily Seale Owen was married to Robert Owen on April 21, 1985. They had no children. Robert died July 13, 1991. Emily died October 20, 1996.
Sarah Elizabeth (Betty) Seale Taylor and Don Taylor's children are: Donald Lee Taylor, born February 24, 1948; Donna Lynn Taylor, born July 24, 1949, died July 27, 1949; Christine Taylor Stoll, born January 1, 1951; and Deborah Lynn Taylor, born August 27, 1956.
Don Taylor is deceased. Sarah Elizabeth married Clarence Papineau on July 29, 1984. They have no children.
Paul and I had four children, all still living at this writing. They are: Timothy Allen Vance, born July 24, 1946; Linda Lee (Vance) Bookless, born December 16, 1947; Ellajean (Vance) Baird Zenk, born September 15, 1949; and Carol Lynn (Vance) Rothel, born October 10, 1951.
Timothy Vance was married to Patricia O'Neill on August 20. 1971. They have two daughters, Andrea Colleen, born April 17, 1974 and Laura Elizabeth, born June 25, 1976. They were later divorced and Tim married Lorree Cummings on May 30, 1980. They have one son, Garrick, born May 26, 1982. They were divorced and Tim married Roma (Chaney) Smith on April 27, 1990. Lorree married Ron Ridenbaugh, Garrick's step-father.
Andrea is 23 and is engaged to be married in the fall of '97. She has been studying business administration. She works at Medina General Hospital.
Laura at the present time is studying to be a Dental Chair Side Assistant and works at the Outback Restaurant in Medina. Since the girls lived with their mother most of their childhood after their parents were divorced I didn't have the opportunity to know them as well as I would have liked to.
When Garrick Vance was a young child, he looked forward to the visits from his sisters, Laura and Andrea. He will be 15 May 26th, '97 and is a freshman in high school. Garrick has participated in the Coshocton Children's Community Choir and several years ago played the part of Ahmal, the lead part in the opera, "Ahmal and the Night Visitors".
He and I share a common interest - computers. He has been a big help to me in my choice of software, in maintaining my hard drive, and selecting the programs that would be most beneficial to me.
He has made enough connections through the Internet to start a business selling computer parts and also computers. He purchased his own tax exemption certificate and knows whatever money he makes will have to be reported to the IRS.
Even though his Grandfather Vance died before Garrick was born, they seem to display a common attitude toward the value of business as demonstrated by their individual business cards which are reproduced here:

She taught one year at Jackson, Massillon High School and ten years at New Philadelphia High School.
Having a real desire for children, and after eleven years of marriage, Carol and Dave were blessed with a ten month old boy in February, 1985 by means of adoption. They named him Steven David. They had waited five years since the first phone call to the adoption agency had been placed. At this time, Carol quit her teaching job and became a full-time homemaker. In June, 1989 they were blessed with a second son, Matthew Brennan. They brought him home from Columbus when he was nine days old.
The boys are five years and one month apart in age.
At the time of this writing, Steven is a seventh grader at Dover Middle School and Matthew is in the second grade. Carol is just now getting back into teaching. She is substituting for The Dover School District in the High School and Middle School. Dave has been employed at Union Hospital in Dover since June, 1972 in the Department of Human Resources (Personnel).
A major focus of their lives is serving the Lord through the ministries of their local church. Dave and Carol have taught the Second Grade Sunday School Class since 1986. Dave also coordinates the First through Sixth Grade Classes, and has served on the Deacon Board. Carol serves in the nursery on Sunday nights and is involved in the discipleship ministry. In 1994 she went to the Philippines on a mission trip with 80 other members of her church. They went into some of the remote villages close to Manila. Their purpose was to build church buildings, share the Gospel message with the people, and ground them in the Word of God. Her church makes these trips three or four times a year, and she would like to go again sometime.
